Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Announced, Shadow the Hedgehog Teased

The Sonic Racing franchise is making a comeback with Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. In a cinematic teaser even shorter than Virtua Fighter’s, we see a kart with black and red colors, with Shadow the Hedgehog walking up and hopping in. He then takes off into the city streets, and yes, that really is it.

There’s no release window, but it is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The title and tease of “new roads await&#8221Casino Gaming; could indicate crossing dimensions or maybe multiple timelines. It wouldn’t be the first time that the Sonic franchise has dabbled in either aspect, as Sonic Rush and Sonic the Hedgeh…

Atletico get fourth-tier Cardassar in Copa del Rey, Real Madrid and Barcelona have byes

Atletico Madrid have been paired with fourth-tier side Cardassar in the first round of the Copa del Rey, though Real Madrid and Barcelona are two of four LaLiga clubs missing.

The draw took place in La Cartuja, the Olympic stadium in Seville that will host the final next April, and is organised so that all LaLiga clubs avoid each other and are instead drawn with teams from the lower reaches of the Spanish football pyramid.

Atletico are the only one of the traditional big three involved and face a trip to Tercera Division side Cardassar, who are from a small town on the island of Mallorca.

Sevilla, Spain s fourth Champions League representative this term, will stay in Andalusia when they go to Ciudad de Lucena and Valencia have been drawn against Catalonian team …

If he needs a rest he will have rest – Pep Guardiola knows Rodri must be tired

Pep Guardiola has said he will rest Rodri if the Spain midfielder asks to sit out Saturday’s Premier League match against Luton.

Following Tuesday’s 3-3 Champions League draw with Real Madrid, Rodri’s 41st appearance of the season, the 27-year-old said he was tired and that a rest was “something we are planning”.

Rodri is arguably the most difficult player for Guardiola to replace in his squad, and City lost all four of the domestic games he missed through suspension earlier this season. They have not lost any of the last 66 games in which Rodri played.

PEP (On the importance of Rodrigo) Take a look at our games and you realise. It is simple. He is so important for the quality he gives us.

Paraguay 2 Honduras 2: Santa Cruz brace denies visitors victory

Paraguay were unable to end their Copa America preparations with a win as they were held to a dramatic 2-2 draw by Honduras in Asuncion.

The home side s captain Roque Santa Cruz had a busy night in Paraguay, scoring an own goal in the eighth minute to put Honduras ahead, before equalising on two occasions to deny the visitors a third straight victory.

Santa Cruz s second goal came in the 56th minute, just five minutes after both teams were reduced to 10 players, which played a key role in the match petering out in the final half hour.

Honduras skipper Maynor Figueroa leapt into Nelson Valdez, putting his studs into the Paraguayan striker s chest.

Valdez was incensed, grabbing Figueroa by the front of his shirt after the visiting defender landed on the gro…

Joining Inter would be a bad move for Giovinco – agent

Sebastian Giovinco joining Inter would be a bad move for the Toronto FC striker, according to his agent.

Forward Giovinco left Serie A giants Juventus for the MLS in 2015 and has been a big success.

Last season, he was part of a Toronto side that won a historic treble of the Canadian Championship, Supporters Shield and the MLS Cup.

Giovinco scored 17 MLS goals en route to the latter victory, and his exploits have led to suggestions of a return to Serie A with Inter.

However, his representative Andrea D Amico told Tutti Convocati that is unlikely to be the case.

I d see it going badly for him at Inter, but only because he s very well where he is now, he said.

He s made a sporting choice and a life choice, and he s happy.

Prandelli: Italy not scared of champions

Italy coach Cesare Prandelli says facing reigning champions Spain in the final of Euro 2012 holds no fear for his players.

After winning Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland, and also capturing the FIFA World Cup in South Africa two years ago, Spain are bidding to become the first side to win three successive major international tournaments.

But they were held 1-1 by Italy in their Group C opener, and Prandelli feels his team has improved further since that positive result.

We are not afraid of Spain, he said.

We will try to find their weakest point and work on them.

It won t be easy, it s their third final in a row and this means they have great qualities. But we have grown since the start of the tournament and now we really are a team. We we…

Manchester City will be without Erling Haaland when they take on Brighton, Pep Guardiola has confirmed.

Haaland missed Saturday s FA Cup semi-final victory over Chelsea with a muscular injury he sustained against Real Madrid last week.

And the issue will also see the striker, who has scored 20 Premier League goals this season, miss out against the Seagulls on Thursday.

Erling is not ready for tomorrow, said Guardiola, who added that City will be able to call on Phil Foden and John Stones.

It s not a big issue but he s not available.
